Garden Flowers 50x70

In mijn zolder atelier lopen af en toe de temperaturen hoog op dus dan verhuis ik naar de tuin om daar te schilderen.  In mijn Utrechtse tuintje bloeide ineens hele leuk roze bloemetjes en bij de buurvrouw prachtige licht gele rozen. Deze twee bloemen vormde de inspiratie voor dit werk. Dit werk is voor de rustige interieurs die wel wat kleur willen introduceren maar het subtiel willen houden. Het reliëf van dit werk zorgt voor diepgang en geeft dit bloemenwerk toch een stoere touch.

Gemaakt met gemixte media van muurverf (RAL9010), acrylverf en structuur pasta. Op een doek van 50x70cm met een eiken gekleurde baklijst.

In my attic studio, the temperature rises quite high sometimes, in that case I move out to paint in the garden.  In my little city garden in Utrecht, some lovely little pink flowers suddenly bloomed, and my neighbor had beautiful pale yellow roses. These two flowers served as the inspiration for this piece. This piece is those who prefer quiet interiors but want to introduce a pop of color while keeping it subtle. The texture of this piece adds depth and gives this floral arrangement a bold touch.

Created using mixed media like wall paint (RAL9010), acrylic paint, and texture paste. On a 50x70cm canvas with an oak-colored floating frame.
